If our math is right, the Canadian icon and Most Mediocre Canadian non-nominee turns 63 today. We assume Young celebrated his birthday in what we imagine is typical Neil Young fashion by rocking out in his basement, eating an entire Dairy Queen Blizzard cake and playing with his trains before breaking out his acoustic guitar and playing a mellow tune about impeaching Bush.
Fellow songster Bob Dylan marked the day with a visit to Young's boyhood home in Winnipeg. Hilarity ensued.
