Whitlock Destroys Beloved Book Program, Brogren In

Nathan Whitlock's appearance on CBC Radio's Talking Books heralded the end of the popular lit program. It passed away peacefully at the age of eleven.

CBC Radio will be replacing the show with a new literary program to be hosted by Degrassi alum Stefan Brogren that, according to CBC execs, will attract vital new demographics by restructuring classic Canadian novels as minute-long dramatizations backed by music and sound effects and free of bothersome adjectives, adverbs, and conjunctions.

A unnamed source at CBC headquarters in Toronto revealed that the show will air Sunday nights under the tentative title: Snake and Wittgenstein's Ladder!
